The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner provides advanced, specialized mental health care by integrating the clinical responsibilities of an Advanced Practice Provider with those traditionally performed by a physician. This role operates under collaboratively established medical protocols and within the scope approved by the Washington State licensing board.  

Primary Accountability:   Pediatricians are responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.  Pediatricians promote wellness and educated about the prevention of illness and health promotion.  Pediatricians perform physical examinations and developmental assessments, manage pediatric illness, and help families meet their health needs. The Pediatrician will undertake such hospital based duties as are required for the care of Clinic patients.
