Professional and Technical Knowledge:
- Possesses advanced level of skill in communication (written and verbal), business practices, mathematics and computers typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree program.
- Possesses thorough knowledge of Washington State and Federal laws regarding pharmacy practice
License and Certification:
- Possesses an active Washington State Pharmacist License with no restrictions.
Technical Skills:
- Ability to effectively utilize and navigate Electronic Medical Record system.
- Ability to process prescriptions using the pharmacy management system.
- Ability to perform necessary task on the automated dispensing machine.
- Ability to process CII orders using the DEA Controlled Substance Ordering System.
- Ability to navigate wholesaler website and order medications when necessary.
- Ability to prepare basic correspondence and simple reports in Microsoft Word.
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel to create tables and simple displays of information.
- Ability to create basic presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Ability to perform basic e-mail functions using Outlook.
